Diabetes Laboratory
Our laboratory uses a high-tech automated machine to test blood samples, ensuring accurate results. HbA1c — a three-month average blood sugar level — is measured using the Bio-rod D-10 High Standard HbA1c analyser.
Diabetic Foot Tests
Nerve damage and blood vessel blockage in the legs are detectable early. Tests include Biothesiometry, Doppler Study, Foot Pressure Study, and Monofilament test for complete foot assessment.
Foot Treatment Department
Specialised foot surgeries treat diabetic ulcers and infections. Early intervention is critical for non-healing wounds. Vacuum Therapy rapidly accelerates healing of long-term leg ulcers for better recovery.
Diabetic Heart Tests

Consultant diabetologist; he did his MBBS at Rajah Muthiah Medical College, Tamil Nadu (2002 to 2008). He completed a postgraduate fellowship in diabetes at the Mohan’s Diabetes Education Academy, Chennai (2009 to 2011). He also completed a certificate course in evidence-based diabetes management in the Public Health Foundation of Indian collaboration with Dr Mohan’s diabetes education academy. He worked as a consultant diabetologist at Dr Mohan’s diabetes centre ( 2011 to 2022 ) with 16 + years of experience in diabetes. He established the Alagar Diabetes Care Centre at Madurai for comprehensive diabetic care
